Produce Progress
from a sweet pea pod to an adorable bunch of grapes! a lot has changed since last halloween (although we kept with the round produce theme)! this year, bailey's mommy completely overcommitted on halloween. the day began with a trip to the arbo for pumpkin pictures, then off to the rec center for a kiddie carnival, lunch time, nap time, visiting time (3 former students and their sweet families, complete with the taking off and putting back on of the costume for the carseat.....awesome, but so worth it), trick or treating time (two whole houses), passing out candy while enjoying a casual dinner at the front door as to not miss any of the door knocking excitement followed by the nightly routine of a bath, natural time, books and finally sleep. whew!!!
i'll plan better next year, my precious girl!

Halloween Carnival
after taking pictures at the arboretum, bailey and i headed straight to the kiddie halloween carnival at the rec center where we met up with our buddies kirsten and grayson. the kids both looked so adorable in their costumes and kirsten was able to get the boo to finally smile for a picture :)

both babies had the most fun in a room with balloons and at the petting zoo section where there were 2 goats, about 6 chickens, a puppy, 2 kittens and a turtle (oddly enough, only the goats and chickens were available to pet; guess the scary turtle, kittens and puppy were too wild). i was surprised at how calm the animals were with kids running all around them. however, i think bailey was mainly interested in the sweetest and sometimes wildest animals of all......the other kids :)
